Why use pencil grips as a class teacher?
We recommend slipping a pencil grip onto the child's biro or pencil.
A pencil grip positions the fingers correctly and helps the fingers stay in the position as they write. Almost magically stops pupils losing their pencils and pens once they have been given them by a caring teacher! A sight to behold but true!
For a year now we have been finding a way to provide teachers with larger classpacks of pencil grips for an affordable price and we’ve finally done it. Normally it costs teachers around the £3-£3.50 mark for 6 making it impossible to provide for a whole class. But now with our class packs you can provide your whole class with a complete set for around the £6-£8 mark.
There are two types of grips:
1/ Cylindrical (foam, material) – More economical and suitable for older as well as younger pupils. Makes pencils and pens easier to hold.
2/ Triangular (foam, quality soft rubber) – Can be rounded but is still essentially a triangular hold. Gives a significantly better grip, forces the correct three finger support position on the student and suits all younger learners as well as teenagers improving their writing.
